The upcoming public alpha even has it’s own name – The Founding.
Let’s be clear: we are not fans of early accesses, for which players have to pay while a game is in the early phases of development. Some betas like Conan Exiles appear problematic, while games in much more finished state happen to be successful (let’s just mention the Darkest Dungeon).
And now we received an update about Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, which receives a public alpha on February 10th. Let’s quote the press release:
‘The Founding’ is a very special Founders’ Campaign designed for players who would like to follow and influence the development of our game and help us form the very first Action-RPG in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. ‘The Founding’ packages will become available on the official site on February 10.
As you see the game is still in alpha stage of development (not all features are available or even decided) and someone offers you a “founder package”. May the Force/Emperor be with us.
