The game about gorey destruction and incredibly edgy, ham-fisted dialogue draped in skulls and Gothic architecture is being delayed till June 5th on all platforms.

The developer cites simple technical issue as the cause. As NeocoreGames was not able to make the product fully operational on consoles and well beholden to their publisher to release the title on all platforms at the same time, they had to move the PC release and here we are now.

Which is a shame to me personally, because I always contested that an RPG game set in the Warhammer 40k setting with action-based hack & slash style combat is a billion dollar idea (and that idea was proven to an extend by Space Marine‘s success). Inquisitor Martyr is a bit different beast, being an isometric hack & slash in the vein of Incredible Adventures of Van Hellsing or Torchlight.

It seems suitably gorey and cinematic, which is what I expect from a 40K title. I am looking forward to the absolute edginess of this game.
