How about that. Neocore Games’ (The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing trilogy) upcoming production based on a Games Workshop licese finally got some semblance of a story, clearly dissatisfied with the curent state of events. Take a look at the fancy opening cinematic to, ahem, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. Quite a mouthful, that title. What would be the abbreviation? WHIM? At any given moment heresy is just a WHIM away, a WHIM away…
Why a lone (seemingly, since no gameplay footage yet suggested a party) Inquisitor is going to investigate and cleanse a centuries-old space hulk is beyond me. It’s not like there’s a shortage of Space Marines from chapters which don’t despise the Emperor’s most faithful. Otherwise, the intro looks mighty fine, though, and the ship has the proper vibes of what’s basically a humongous neogothic cathedral floating in space.
