XCOM 2 is free to play this weekend on Xbox

Research some guns, shoot some aliens.

Microsoft announced that the acclaimed strategy game from 2K, XCOM 2, is going to be free to play this weekend on Xbox Live through the Live Gold’s Free Play Days.

Alongside the trial, there is also a huge discount on the game with the regular edition going for £18.00 and the Digital Deluxe for £22.80. That’s 60% off, which is quite nice.

As it usually is with free to play weekends all the progress that you make in the unpaid version of the game will then transfer to the full one, should you decide to buy it.
