9 dice, 54 images, endless stories of bombing adventures!
This is a simple in assumptions and at the same time brilliant game that will provide you with a lot of fun, and at the same time being a perfect training of your creativity and imagination. Story Cubes are nine nicely made cubes, each with a different set of illustrations on the sides.
Play with family and friends! You will all play the role of the narrator in turn. The goal of the game is to tell the best story about the adventures of the characters from "Looney Tunes" based on 9 pictures rolled on cubes. The narrator rolls all 9 dice and then begins the story with the words "Once Upon a Time in the Land of ACME ..." or simply describes the first scene. There is only one rule: there are no bad associations. A "Sticky" image can be a cartoon joke, it can also mean someone has gone down the drain or in a pretty swamp!
Tip: Don't forget to use onomatopoeic words such as "LOOK!" during the game. or "BOOM!" - it will be a barrel of laughter! Please note that you can mix different sets of Rory's Story Cubes to add variety to the gameplay or to extend the story.
Solo game: Use all 9 StoryCubes to create your own "Looney Tunes"! Why not try to draw your own comic book or storyboard?
Wet for tat - 2 players duel: Each player chooses one character from "Looney Tunes" to play. Agree together what to argue about. If you lack ideas, roll the dice - let them become your inspiration. Let's say Bugs and Daffy argue over a still warm cake. Now 9 dice are rolled. The first player to grab the die describes the trick his character is doing and emerges victorious from that first skirmish. The other player grabs another die and describes how his character plays. The heroes' duel ends with the last die - players use it together to describe how both characters were finally fooled. End the story with the words "And that's it!"
The only thing that limits you is your own imagination. Wake her up and let yourself be carried away, and fantastic stories will be born in your head by themselves!
The more you play Story Cubes, the easier it will be to build fascinating and ever more complex stories. You can exercise your imagination alone, you can also invite a group of friends to play with you. You can play individually or as a team.
Story Cubes contain many variants of the game, thanks to which it is perfect for groups of various sizes and ages. Who in your group will impress others most with their ingenuity, imagination and the ability to tell fascinating stories?
