Try to save Isaac from his calamitous fate
Remember the Biblical story of the Binding of Isaac? God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son on the altar. Fortunately for Isaac, a messenger from God appeared and stopped Abraham from doing it, sending a ram instead. This time it is the mother of Isaac, who is pitchforked in an analogic situation. Will this story have a happy end as well? It depends on you. You’ll meet Isaac as a terrified, little boy, who just escaped from a possible bloodshed, hiding in a trapdoor concealed under his rug, which lead him straight into another danger – a gloomy, mysterious basement. Those, who played The Legend of Zelda will be familiar with the dungeon structure of the game. Developed by Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl (Super Meat Boy production), The Binding of Isaac reflects Zelda inspirations and McMillen’s thoughts on religion. Discover the stories and mysteries comprised in the basement dungeons, solve various riddles, collect items, including special weapons or artefacts and of course fight off threating creatures.
Each game will be unique
Thanks to the randomly structured floors, no two play sessions would be alike. The game offers 4 full chapters spanning 8 levels, including variously generated dungeons, over 50 enemies to encounter, each with the ability to become "special”, as well as 20 bosses to challenge with. The course of the game may differ in each gameplay, depending on your decisions as well. Choose wisely, be careful and monitor the health and amount of damage received. If you would be brave enough, you might even meet the king of the evil – the Satan himself.
