Zombie Army Trilogy Steam Gift GLOBAL

Zombie Army Trilogy is a TPP tactical shooter game developed and published by Rebellion Developments. The title is a continuation of the Nazi Zombie Army – a standalone expansion to Sniper Elite V2 and includes previous all the titles in the series. In Zombie Army Trilogy, the player controls one of four characters in an alternate world story set during World War II.

The soldiers of WWII fronts have risen from the dead and it is up to the player to send them back to their graves. The game received positive opinions of the critics who praised it for its gameplay and cooperative mechanics.

Tactical action gameplay

Zombie Army borrows a lot of gameplay mechanics from its parent series – Sniper Elite. The player is encouraged to take down the zombie enemies from afar using the sniper rifle. The levels in ZAT are more linear than the open arenas of Sniper Elite, and force the player into taking offensive action instead of stealth solutions. The player has at their disposal a variety of weapons, from aforementioned sniper rifles to explosives and others. The game features cooperative multiplayer, with up to four participants.

World War Zombie Story

The game story takes place in an alternative version of Word War II. Adolf Hitler, surrounded in his bunker in Berlin, uses his final trump card to tip the scale of war, the “Plan Z”. Using dark magic, the Fuhrer reanimates all the fallen Wehrmacht soldiers as zombies.  As the undead swarm the European cities and battlefields, four unlikely heroes – an OSS operative, the Red Army veteran, a Wehrmacht captain, and a German occultist – join forces to stop the plague of zombies. Will they succeed in thwarting Hitler’s plans?

Reception

Zombie Army Trilogy for PC was met with positive reviews from critics. They praised the game’s mechanics, and how it managed to spin Sniper Elite’s gameplay into something new. The story of the game was considered to be well put together, if not very smart. The cooperative aspect of ZAT received praise from the critics, who noted it as one of the main selling points of the game.
