BONEREADER is a dark narrative card game where you must survive deadly games of chance against spirits in a mysterious afterlife, using cards, dice, and strategy to win a second life.

Gameplay

Build a deck of mystical cards and roll special dice, known as bones, to play them and score points. Your goal is to push your score higher than your supernatural opponents in a tense battle of chance. Each foe you face enforces their own unique house rule, forcing you to adapt your strategy and deck to overcome impossible odds. Defeat them to claim their powerful dice and items for your own arsenal.

Story

You awaken in a dreamlike Purgatory after being executed, convinced your death was a betrayal. In this uncertain afterlife, the only path to redemption and a chance at rebirth is to gamble against the lost spirits who dwell there. To uncover the truth behind your execution and reclaim your stolen peace, you must defeat these entities in their own deadly games and take the second life you seek.
