Gameplay

This new mode challenges you to plan a continent-wide campaign from a strategic war table, managing resources, research, and troop recruitment. You will conquer and develop multiple citadels, establishing supply lines between them to transport troops and vital materials. Core gameplay involves defending each fortress against waves of enemies that grow stronger over time, forcing you to constantly reinforce your walls and strategically redeploy forces across the map.

Story

The campaign pushes your forces north into a blighted land known as the Old Kingdom, which has been lost to a corrupting Mist. Your mission is to wrest this continent back from the monstrous horrors that inhabit it, citadel by citadel, with the ultimate goal of rebuilding a foothold for humanity to finally thrive once more.
