Dread Hunger

Dread Hunger is a multiplayer survival game developed by the indie Dread Hunger Team studio and released by Digital Confectioners in 2022. Play as one of the crew members of a 19th-century ship and get to know yourself better in harsh Arctic conditions! Story

A sailor's life is hard, but it gets even harder when the voyage goes wrong. Play as one of the members of a British ship lost in an unwelcoming arctic wilderness. Staying alive in such harsh conditions can be extremely challenging. But the most complex task will be to survive the drastic changes in human nature.

Gameplay

Dread Hunger is a co-op game where players take on the role of crew members fighting for survival in unfamiliar arctic conditions. Among them are two traitors, and their only goal is chaos, betrayal, and the ultimate death of their fellow travelers. Work together to live through the next day and find something to eat. Explore the area, hunt, gather food and keep the ship warm. Do your best to continue the journey!

As time goes on, the gameplay can get more and more desperate. Faced with a lack of food, players will fight each other. Keep your eyes open as danger can lurk at every turn. Watch out for hungry wild animals, poison in food, surprise attacks, or your companions' cannibalistic instincts. Anyone can be your friend or your mortal enemy in the Dread Hunger video game. So it's best to get rid of them first before they get rid of you!
