Soulmask

Soulmask is an independent multiplayer sandbox survival game. The game was developed by CampFire Studio and published by Qooland Games in May 2024 as a part of the Steam Early Access program.

Soul and mask

You were supposed to become the next sacrifice in a dark ritual, but somehow you managed to escape. As the owner of the mystical mask, your current goal is to explore the dangerous, primitive land filled with supernatural, human, and environmental dangers alike. Build your own tribe and use the power of the mask to possess and take control over NPCs, then discover more masks to gain the powers of ancient heroes to become truly unstoppable!

The Soulmask video game is a sandbox multiplayer experience with both LAN and online multiplayer for up to 50 players available. Players’ experience can be easily customised by joining private, non-official servers, where various gameplay parameters can be adjusted to fit your and your friends’ preferred playstyle. The game can also be played in an offline single-player mode.

Ultimate tribal experience

Soulmask is based on building and managing your own tribe, with multiple gameplay elements and advanced AI created with community development in mind. Recruit the members of your tribe - from warriors to craftsmen - and manage their daily life to fulfill their needs and wants. Farm, harvest, build, craft, and explore various automation options to make sure your tribe has everything it needs to survive and thrive.

The world doesn’t end with your tribe though - there’s a whole world to explore! Travel through various biomes, including snowy mountains, volcanic wilderness, dense rainforests, and more, to gather resources and discover the secrets and treasures hidden in temples, ruins, and villages scattered within the huge gameplay area. 

Set camps and protect them, fighting dangerous monsters and humans alike with a complex combat system utilizing diverse fighting styles, skills, special actions, and weapons. You can also choose PvP mode to compete with other players on the same map - prepare to storm their fortresses and trap your own stronghold to keep your tribe safe!
