Encased is a science-fiction, post-apocalyptic RPG developed by Dark Crystal Games and published by Black Tower Entertainment. It is set in a world where an unexplained anomaly, known as the Dome, has appeared in the middle of the desert. The Dome is a mysterious force field that has cut off a portion of the world from the rest of humanity, trapping those inside in a strange, dangerous wasteland.

Plot

The game takes place in the early days of the Dome's appearance when corporations and governments are racing to be the first to explore the strange new world. Players take on the role of a character who is hired by one of these organizations to venture into the Dome and uncover its secrets. There are five wings of the CRONUS corporation, each with its own features, mechanics, and gameplay options. The future of this world is all up to them

Gameplay
