I Am Dead

I Am Dead is a new, independent puzzle game released in 2020. The developer responsible for creating it is also known for releasing games such as Hohokum, and Wilmot's Warehouse. In the game, the player takes on the role of a ghost, trying to save his home from destruction. The game features simple, but nice, colorful graphics realized in a typical Richard Hogg style. The game offers an exclusively single-player experience.

Story background

The action takes place on Shelmerston Island. In the game, players take on the role of Morris Lupton, deceased curator of the local museum. As a ghost, Mr. Lupton is able to see things that are invisible to regular people. In this case, it is a preview of a disastrous Vulcano eruption that will destroy the whole island. Players' goal is to learn the long-forgotten secret revealing how to stop the catastrophe.

Gameplay

During the gameplay in I Am Dead game, players will be solving a variety of more and less challenging puzzles. As the main protagonist is a ghost, he possesses some supernatural abilities that will be very helpful on the adventure. For example, he can see through objects and people which allows him to see what's inside the building without entering, and see the memories of other's person.
