Story

Vampire Lord Harkon returns and plans to use The Elder Scrolls to block out the sun forever. However, the vampire hunters will do anything it takes to stop him. Only this experienced order has a chance to prevent an ancient vampire from plunging the world into eternal darkness. Decide sides and support the hunters or join forces with a future sun slayer. 

Gameplay

Listen to rumors and follow them to start the expansion storyline. Two new character development paths will open up before you. Choose Harkon's side and transform into a powerful vampire lord! Discover a brand-new vampire tree and use unique powers to defeat enemies even more effectively. Or join the heroic Dawnguard order and use deadly weapons, spells, and skills.

The Skyrim Dawnguard add-on also encourages the development of the werewolf skill tree, changes in appearance, and fights with new creatures. And all this in faraway locations and glorious lands, where you will meet even more fascinating NPCs. Embark on your adventure in an extraordinary tale of fighting vampires and pick a side to fully enjoy the unusual powers or weapons of the chosen side!
