Gameplay

Against the Storm - Nightwatchers challenges players to build and manage settlements in unforgiving biomes. The Bats introduce new mechanics, including the Manorial Court, where exiling villagers can boost productivity. In the Rocky Ravines, trade with the Black Market is essential due to scarce wood, while the Bamboo Flats require careful management of the Fluffbeak creature to produce fertile soil. New world events, modifiers, and legendary cornerstones add depth to strategic decision-making.

Story

As the Blightstorm rages, the Scorched Queen's rule is tested by smugglers and ancient threats. The Bats, a hardened species skilled in metallurgy, join the struggle, bringing their ruthless efficiency. In the Rocky Ravines, settlers must navigate criminal networks, and in the Bamboo Flats, they must appease the Fluffbeak to ensure survival. New world events introduce dangerous encounters, from alchemical disasters to mysterious beasts, shaping the fate of your settlement.
