A propos de Mirror's Edge
Mirror's Edge is an action platform video game developed by DICE and released thanks to Electronic Arts in 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and a year later for PC. This unique puzzle title presents an alternative version of the future where the inhabitants of a vast city suffer under the oppression of a totalitarian government. As one of them, you will resist the reign using your extraordinary parkour skills.
Story
Faith is one of the couriers delivering classified information. Living in a city constantly monitored by the government, the girl abandons life in the system and moves on the roofs of massive buildings. When her sister is framed for murder, the story begins. Faith will do everything it takes to save her loved one from the worst possible fate.
Gameplay
Mirror's Edge is a first-person 3D adventure game where everything revolves around challenging parkour evolutions. To continue to the following chapter of a complex story, you need to complete specific tasks within a level. This title is a real treat for speed fans as Faith can perform truly spectacular and almost inhuman acrobatics. Running, jumping, and flying down ropes are guaranteed fun in this adrenaline-fueled gameplay experience. Especially since the whole story takes place in an impressively massive metropolis perfect for extreme exploration.
In addition to fast-paced running, there are also combat features. The encounters can be dangerous, but the leading character's skills will never let her die. With precise moves, the protagonist can disarm her opponents and effectively defeat them in combat. It is also possible to use various weapons. However, the Mirror's Edge game discourages you from doing so, as the gun slows down or prevents some parkour moves.
