Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II is the continuation of a famous RTS game developed by Relic Entertainment, and released by THQ Inc. in 2009. The action of the game takes place in the incredibly popular, futuristic universe of Warhammer 40,000. The game received very good reviews from thousands of players. A complex multiplayer mode, as well as good quality graphics, were the most applauded aspects of the game.

The action of the game takes place in a fantastic universe of Warhammer 40k. In this bloody and brutal world, several different races fight each other in violent wars. In the campaign, players take the role of a commander leading elite armies of Space Marines, fighting for the future of the galaxy.

Take part in dynamic, tactical battles

This time, developers decided to change some of the main gameplay mechanics. In Dawn of War II, players will no longer build bases. Instead, the game put more focus on dynamic, real-time encounters. Additionally, now players have much more freedom in terms of choosing areas they want to conquer. With each battle, our units gain experience points, increasing their combat proficiency and unlocking access to new abilities.

Explore new gameplay mechanics

In Dawn of War II, players will mostly command small squads of Space Marines. Once you select a war mission, you will have to choose four team members - each of your soldier have different skills, combat specialization, personality, and even voice acting. The gameplay features many mechanics associated with RPGs. Squad leaders and Commanders can equip various pieces of equipment increasing their statistics.

Immersive campaign mode

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II features a non-linear campaign mode. Missions can be played as a single-player, or cooperatively with other players. Battles are the most important element of the game, and the choice of the planet we fight on determines how to story develops.

Skirmish mode

Besides the complex campaign, the game features Skirmish mode that can be played solo, or using online multiplayer matchmaking. Players start by choosing their faction and their commanders. Each of them features different playstyles and strategies. During matches, we can test our tactical skills fighting against AI-controlled enemies, or other players in two different modes - Victory Point Control, and Annihilation.
