Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a TPP action-platforming game, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts. The game takes the player into the world of Star Wars saga and lets them relive the best moments of Episode II and The Clone Wars TV series. The gameplay remains similar to that of the previous TT Lego games, with new features including large scale ground battles, additional character abilities, and new hub locations. TCW received a positive reception from the critics, who praised the game's replayability and co-op mechanics.

Experience improved gameplay mechanics

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars' gameplay focuses on action, platforming, and puzzle-solving mechanics. The main features of the previous titles in the series remain intact – the player controls one of several available characters, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Yoda, Mace Windu, Ahsoka Tano, and others. The characters can use a variety of weapons: lightsabers, blasters, grenades, etc. New skills, such as throwing the lightsaber at an enemy and Jedi combo moves, are introduced.

A prominent new feature are the ground battles. These large scale skirmishes can be fought on foot or using one of the several available mounts: walkers, speeders, gunships, and other familiar vehicles. The ground battles are won in a true capture-the-flag fashion - by destroying enemy fortifications and replacing them with the player's constructions.

The game features a co-op mode where two players can work together to proceed through the levels. A new feature is Story Swap, which allows the player to switch to another character during the mission and play their side of the story.
