Rain World

A harsh environment, a tough fight for survival, hostile wildlife, an empty derelict of a world, and a cute slugcat protagonist is what awaits you in Rain World. This hardcore 2D survival game offers an incredible and unique experience with little to no guidelines in terms of both gameplay and story. Your objective is to survive and find your family, how you do it is your story.

Plot

Rain World is derelict and destroyed by natural catastrophes all that is left are ruins of a lost civilization and various animals that prey on each other. You take the role of either Survivor or Monk, two slugcat siblings who get separated from the rest of their family while crossing a river. In a hostile and dangerous world, you must fight fur survival and find a way to reunite with your kin.

Gameplay

Rain World is a survival game set in a 2D pixel-art world. There is no direct guideline as to what you should do and where to go. Your main objectives are to survive by hunting for smaller prey and avoiding larger predators in many different shapes and sizes. Besides that, you must find shelter from deadly torrent rains and safely hibernate which acts as your save point.
