Dead by Daylight: Ghost Face

In The Slience of the Lambs, Hannibal Lecter lectures Clarice Starling on Buffalo Bill’s nature, what propagates his murders – coveting what he sees every day. But what if we take this notion and push it a bit further by asking: how would it feel to take up a role of a well-known killer or protagonist from the horror movie or the video game you have always coveted to participate in, and play cat and mouse with someone else? The gameplay

Dead by Daylight Ghost Face is the chapter 12 of Dead By Daylight – an action-horror game developed by Behaviour Interactive in 2016. We step into shoes of either a killer or one of the survivors. Your main objectives differ greatly as the former preys by stalking and butchering Survivors, and the latter try to run for their lives, avoiding the killer at all costs. To get out of each map, Survivors have to fix 5 generators which power the escape gate. You’d better be quick but move in sheer silence. Ghost Face’s senses are even keener than his knife...

The new killer

As the title of the Ghost Face DLC indicates, a new likeness of a killer is introduced. Ahh yes…the Ghost Face. Who doesn’t recognize him at once?... Well, here’s a quick catch-up for those who have been living under the rock for the past 27 years. Ghost Face is the main antagonist from a 1996 Wes Craven horror movie “Scream”. Known for its flair for irony and meta awareness, the whole Scream franchise is now one of the cornerstones of horror genre. DBD couldn’t simply miss an opportunity to incorporate its icon. As other killers from previous chapters, Ghost Face has his own three unique perks that come in handy when you hunt for victims. Ghost Face is pretty sneaky, so you’d better keep your eyes open.
