Kungfupunk, Wuxia and Dark Fantasy
Phantom Blade Zero has been in the oven for a good while, but it looks better and better every time.
It’s rooted in the wuxia traditions of powerful heroes following a martial code of honor, and adds a layer of dark fantasy on top of that, with weird monsters and twisted creatures hardly qualifying as humans anymore.
Weapons, Combat and Exploration
PB0 will have multiple weapons, handy not just for combat, but also in unlocking areas of its relatively open stages.
It will also have, of course, rewarding active defence options (dodges and parries), and weapon-specific movesets to develop to aid you during fast-paced, tight combat.

Story and Release Date
As for the story, it will have us follow a fellow named Soul, framed for the murder of his organisation’s patriarch and trying to clear his name.
Phantom Blade Zero, among its many much-awaited qualities, is also gentle, releasing on October 29th, rather than the tightly packed September. Surely, that must be the reason for the delay, no?
