Batman: The Telltale Series - The Enemy Within is the second part of the PC point-n-click adventure game, Batman: The Telltale Series. The title was produced and published by Telltale Games, known for their work on such projects as The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones - The Telltale Series. The plot of each part of Batman series has been divided into five chapters and the first of the Batman Enemy Within was released in 2017.

Story

You control Bruce Wayne and his grim alter ego, Batman. Each of them encounters various dilemmas during the game, on the solution of which depends the further development of the plot. The Riddler returns to Gotham, the cold-hearted federal agent shows up and Batman crosses his paths with the Joker and Harley Quinn. The stakes are huge and it's up to you how the fate of the Gotham City unfolds.

Batman Telltale Gameplay

As an adventure point-n-click, the game is about dialogue and making decisions that shape the further gameplay, but also about exploring locations in order to conduct your own investigation. The game mechanics are not difficult, but the decision itself can be, although, in the game, you can use the Crowd Play system, which allows other people to vote through the application in order to make shared choices.

In addition, the title is theoretically a continuation of Batman's adventures in Batman: The Telltale Series, but the lack of knowledge of this title does not exclude the full enjoyment of Batman: The Enemy Within. What distinguishes this title is the story with an intriguing design and a story full of plot twists and mysteries. In addition, the whole thing is framed with very characteristic comic graphics, which perfectly bring out the raw and dark atmosphere of Gotham city.

Batman: The Enemy Within has won many impressive awards, including for "Performance in a Drama, Supporting" and "Outstanding Achievement in Videogame Writing." On Steam, the title has received a huge number of very positive reviews and comments, in which players praise the improved mechanics that allow making more complex choices and playing with the feeling that you have an impact on literally everything that happens later in the game, including the fate of the characters - even if they are villains.
