MISERY

MISERY is a co-op rogue-lite survival game for fans of Lethal Company and Stalker. Play as PMCs guarding a secret research institute in the Republic of Zaslavie, scavenging the dangerous Exclusion Zone for resources while facing deadly threats, anomalies, and other survivors. Expand your bunker, manage your vitals, and survive the horrors of the Zone with friends.

Gameplay

In MISERY, you must scavenge procedurally generated locations like abandoned military bases, radioactive wastelands, and ruined cities while managing hunger, thirst, radiation, and sanity. Each day, you have limited time to gather supplies before retreating to your bunker. The game features deadly anomalies, hostile survivors, and mutated creatures with unique behaviors. Expand your bunker with crafting stations, generators, and decorations, and trade loot with merchants in the underground bar.

Story

The Scientific Institute for Research of the Zaslavie Exclusion Zone (SIRZEZ) was built to study anomalies and artifacts, but their discovery led to a nuclear war. Now, as a PMC, you must survive in the aftermath, navigating a hostile world where radiation, anomalies, and desperate survivors threaten your existence. The Zone is full of secrets, and losing your sanity may be just as dangerous as the physical threats lurking in the shadows.
