Pathogenic is a 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you embody a dangerous parasite. Your mission is to infect and conquer the human body from the inside, evolving from a simple cell into a devastating engine of disease.

Gameplay

This roguelike features intense twin-stick combat where you hunt enemy cells to harvest their parts. You graft these organelles onto your own body to gain new abilities, from movement and power generation to ranged and melee attacks. Combine these parts to create powerful synergistic builds as you battle through procedurally generated organs and face challenging bosses.

Story

You are a lone pathogen invading a human host. In a desperate war for survival, you must fight your way through the body's formidable immune defenses and rival parasites. Your goal is total conquest, transforming the host's internal world from a battlefield into your own infected domain.
