B1 ter

The B1 remains one of France’s most iconic WW2 era tanks not just due to its instantly recognizable visual appearance, but also due to its widespread use during the Invasion of France in 1940. B1ter was conceived as a “battle tank”, intended to breakthrough the enemy’s lines, whilst also providing support for infantry. Compared to the B1bis, the ter modification featured thicker frontal armour protection, going up to 75mm. The B1ter was also equipped with a more powerful 350 hp engine as well as a different transmission and received space for an additional crew member too. Armed with a 47mm cannon mounted on a fully rotatable turret, as well as a hull-mounted 75mm cannon, the B1ter is capable to bring a lot of destruction to the enemy ranks.

P-40F-5 Lafayette

The P-40F-5 modification was developed in the early 1940’s and differed from the previous model, the P-40E, with a lengthened tail section on the fighter. This premium fighter model carries a livery of the EC 2/5 Lafayette squadron, which took part in battles in Tunisia in 1942-1943 under the command of the legendary French test pilot Konstantin Rozanoff. On this modification, an 1130 hp engine has been installed, which allowed it to reach a maximum speed of over 600 km/h. The P-40F-5 Lafayette is armed with 6 x 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine guns, wing-mounted and can be outfitted with the following ordnance 2 x 100 lb bombs, 1 x 500 lb bomb or 1 x 500 lb + 2 x 100 bombs.
