Characters develop dynamic relations with each other. Some will become bitter rivals, while some may develop feelings for each other that will end in romance. The time does not wait and your heroes will age. Some will start families and new generations of adventurers will embark on their own quests. Death is not always the end

And when your heroes will stare death right in the eyes you still have a choice. You can let them perish, or make them fall back after receiving certain injuries. Even this may open new paths in their own legend.

Tactical combat

Experience tactical, turn-base combat that will keep you on your toes and require you to use strategy and careful planning to win. You might need to use your surroundings to even the odds. As in many party-based rpgs cooperation is your strongest weapon. Be careful, as your enemies will not wait idly as your heroes become more and more powerful. They too will become increasingly stronger and will give you no quarter!

You can organically create your own pantheon of legendary heroes of yore, each with a unique backstory. And they will not be just some characters you’ve heard about. Graphics

Wildermyth has a very interesting and atmospheric graphical design. All characters, monsters, buildings and elements of the environment mimic paper models used in tabletop RPGs. They are beautifully made and help create an inviting atmosphere of a classical adventure game.
