IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Kuban is the third installment in the next-gen IL-2 Sturmovik series, focusing on intense aerial combat between the Red Air Force and the Luftwaffe over the Kuban front in 1943. Featuring eight aircraft and a dynamic career mode, it offers a complete Eastern Front experience when combined with previous titles.

Gameplay

Experience large-scale aerial battles with realistic flight mechanics and detailed damage modeling. Engage in dogfights, bomber missions, and ground attacks across a historically accurate Kuban map with three distinct seasons. The game includes a career mode with day-by-day frontline changes, authentic squadrons, and dynamic weather. Additionally, the A-20B bomber can be used in the Battle of Stalingrad timeframe for expanded gameplay.

Story

The game includes the "Sea Dragons" historical campaign, following a wounded fighter pilot reassigned to the 47th Attack Aviation Regiment of the Black Sea Air Force. Flying the IL-2 Sturmovik, he must prove himself again, rising from a wingman to Deputy Commander. The campaign spans 15 missions, covering key battles from April to October 1943.
