Nocturnal is an atmospheric action game where you, as soldier Ardeshir, return to your shrouded homeland to battle a chaotic Mist with the sacred flame of your sword.

Gameplay

Wield a flaming sword to push back a reactive, ever-shifting Mist. Use your flame to solve environmental puzzles, activate ancient mechanisms, and cleanse corrupted creatures. Defeat foes and explore to gather ash, offering it at Phoenix statues to unlock crucial new abilities and enhancements for your journey.

Story

Years after his departure, Ardeshir of the Enduring Flame comes back to the island of Nahran to find it overrun by a supernatural Mist. As a sacred guardian, he must traverse the transformed landscape, confront the source of the chaos, and liberate his homeland from its consuming darkness.
