Silent Shark is a tactical World War II submarine simulator set in the Pacific Theater, focusing on realism, manual plotting, and commanding a submarine using authentic period instruments.

Gameplay

The core experience revolves around methodical plotting and estimation on a tactical chart. You track enemy ships by sound using a hydrophone, identify and manually estimate their range through the periscope, and calculate firing solutions with a Torpedo Data Computer. Gameplay involves careful approach planning, depth and speed management, and tense evasion when hunted by enemy destroyers.

Story

You command a US submarine crew through the dynamic and challenging campaigns of the Pacific War. The game features a full patrol campaign with evolving strategic situations, historical events, and the long-term goal of surviving the entire war, managing your reputation, resources, and crew across multiple deployments.
