Gameplay
Wanderburg puts you in control of a castle that moves across the battlefield instead of remaining behind defensive walls. You roll through the environment, consuming villages, flocks, and smaller fortresses while fighting larger enemy strongholds. Each successful encounter contributes to the growth of your castle, gradually transforming a modest mobile fortress into a heavily armed war machine.
Castle building is based around a modular progression system. Cannons, arcane towers, explosives, and other siege modules can be combined to create different offensive setups. New modules, vehicles, artifacts, and captains unlocked between runs increase the number of strategies available in future attempts, encouraging experimentation with different builds and combinations.
Story
Wanderburg takes place in an unusual medieval world where castles are no longer stationary. Fortresses roam the land, villages flee from danger, and larger strongholds hunt smaller ones. The struggle is centered on survival through constant growth: your moving castle must consume resources, destroy rival fortresses, and become powerful enough to face whatever larger threat is waiting beyond the next battlefield.
Graphics
Wanderburg uses a minimalist medieval presentation built around mobile castles, siege machinery, and an eccentric combination of technology and magic. Steam-powered engines exist alongside arcane artillery and wizard-operated towers, while unusual touches such as bicycle-riding knights give the world a playful character. Large moving fortresses and escalating battlefield destruction make the expanding castle itself the visual centerpiece of each run.
