Set five years after the 1957 Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England, Atomfall follows the immersive story of a mysterious amnesiac finding themselves lost in a picturesque, yet dangerous English countryside - precisely, in a quarantine zone established in the Lake District in Cumbria.

The Atomfall video game is a masterfully crafted blend of survival and action RPG. It’s a thrilling, single-player, narrative-driven adventure played from a first-person perspective, telling a fictional version of a real-world event - the worst nuclear accident in the United Kingdom’s history. The game is set in an alternate history 1960s’ open world, full of science-fiction, folk horror, and Cold War influences.
