Forts

Forts is a 2D physics based RTS game developed and published by Australian studio EarthWork Games. In Forts, the player assumes the role of a fortress commander and is tasked with rebuilding and improving their base to face other forts in battle. The game was met with positive reception, with critics comparing it favorably to the Worms series.

Build the fortress

In Forts, the player is given the task to build a fortress and arm it with various types of weapons, including mortars, machine guns, miniguns, laser cannons and warheads. The player has free choice of shaping their fort, however, the size of it depends on the player’s resources, which are gathered by various devices that player builds within their fortress, such as mines and wind turbines.

Meet the commanders

The world of Forts is divided into three factions – recognized by the color of their emblem in the game. Each faction has their commanders, who possess different passive and active abilities, such as reducing the cost of building materials or giving the weapons radiation effect.

Play the campaign

Forts game feature a single-player campaign, where the player has to lead their fortress to victory through 28 missions. During the campaign, the player conquers the world map, destroying fortresses in various regions of the world. Throughout the playthrough, the player collects stars for their results during the battle.

Enter the multiplayer

The game features a multiplayer mode, where the player faces off other players in different types of cooperative and competitive matches.
