This series is almost devoided of a story but focuses on fast-paced action. Embark on your adventure by choosing a hero! Each uses unique skills and weapons sets, so you can have some fun creating your dream character. Get on the surface of an alien planet and fight for survival! Your goal is to find the teleporter to save you and your friends. Unfortunately, the procedurally generated world loves producing numerous treasures and hordes of bloodthirsty enemies. Count on the company of bosses who will do their best to get rid of you. However, it is worth fighting every enemy, as each monster equals priceless loot and more experience.

Enter the portal to find more enemies, treasures, and deadly new opportunities! Now you can play with two new heroes: Railgunner and Void Fiend. The Railgunner is a master of precision, managing the terrain to her advantage. Using the abilities of her weapons and proven defense systems, this playable heroine can prove to be an ace up your sleeve during the most intense battles. The Void Fiend is a contaminated commando who fights to stay alive and not get absorbed by the Void forces. Equipped with unique weapons and powers, he can prove essential on the battlefield.

But RoR 2: Survivors of the Void aren't just about new playable characters! There are also five new environments like Void Locus and Sulfur Pools to make your gameplay even more challenging. The DLC also adds four interactables: Crashed Multishop, Void Potential, Large Category Chests, and Void Cradle.
