Project CARS 2 is the continuation of racing simulator developed by Slightly Mad studio, known for creating games like Need for Speed: Shift, Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, or Shift 2: Unleashed. The game is known for its realism and extremely detailed models of the cars. The game is designed for every fan of immersion, high speeds, and of course, beautiful machines.

Gameplay

The main elements of the gameplay remain unchanged and do not differ much from other games of the genre. Project CARS 2 gives players the chance to take control of a wide range of licensed sports cars and take part in races organized on diverse tracks in many various places in the world.

Developers focused on delivering a realistic racing experience. They implemented many options that allow us to adjust various aspects of the gameplay, including control assistance, guiding lines displayed on the track which role is to help us maintain the most optional position on the track or the choice between manual and automatic transmission. To make the game as realistic as possible, developers used the system called LiveTrack 3.0. Thanks to that technology, a track can be influenced by many different factors like temperature and dynamic weather. According to the developers ‘each track is a living, organic venue' and it's possible that every lap on the track will be different.

Numerous awards, including 2017 Best Racing Game (Wired UK), and 2017 Best Simulation Game (Gamescom), prove that developers from Slightly Mad studio took their job seriously, and created great racing simulator.
