Pit People

The Behemoth is a studio responsible for the titles such as Battleblock Theater, Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid HD. In Pit People, they throw you, the player, into the crazy and hostile world inhabited by some of the most bizarre enemies you'll see. In this turn-based adventure game, you'll be questing, fighting and gathering loot in the single-player story or in co-op. The game is full of surprises and unforgettable encounters!

The setting

Imagine a world where one of your main concerns is surviving a battle with bloodthirsty vampires, destructive and deadly robots, and vicious cupcake people. A world where you are being dogged by a nasty and power-hungry narrator. This is the world you find yourself in in Pit People. It's a crazy adventure that doesn't tread the beaten path and goes its own way, however crazy it may be. Alone or with a friend you must gather your troops consisting of many colorful characters and diverse and bizarre races to survive in this crazy and hostile world!

Gameplay

Pit People is a turn-based adventure game where you can utilize many different characters in both combat and the story. Encounters with enemies will require good strategy. During the course of the game, you will be completing quests and exploring many locations, customizing your characters and units, acquiring new items and weapons and much more. The game offers over 1000 quests and 1500 unlocks so the amount of content is sure not to run out soon.

You can experience Pit People in a local and online co-op multiplayer but also in 2v2 arenas in the Pit. Additionally, the game can be spiced up with permadeath. No more resurrecting your fallen heroes. All that is left of them are fond memories. Just remember not to run out of them, as then your save will be permanently deleted. It's a PERMAdeath, after all.
