Sun Haven

At the first glance, Sun Haven is another pixel game like Stardew Valley, a farming sim that allows you to build your farm. You can engage in all typical activities of the genre: cooking, crafting, fishing, mining and smithing.

You can also build relationships with residents of Sun Haven and even romance and marry them. However, despite these similarities, Sun Haven has its own identity and features role-playing elements such as magic-filled quests and a combat system that can be a nice break from farming activities. Or perhaps it is the other way around. It's up to you!

Story

The only game mode is the main storyline that can be played either solo or with up to 8 other people in multiplayer. You arrive in titular Sun Haven, a once-thriving town that is currently struggling and your task is to unravel the mystery behind it and help the town. How will you do it is up to you, you can either focus on being a farmer or, perhaps, an adventuring warrior or even a spell-casting mage.

There's is also another town located not so far away from Sun Haven, a monster-inhabited Withergate. You can either listen to the warnings and avoid it or explore it yourself, the choice is yours. On your journey, you will meet a plethora of different characters. Each with its own unique personality and appearance. Should someone catch your attention you can go on a date and start a romance. 

Sun Haven Gameplay

The core gameplay of Sun Haven can be divided into two parts: farming and RPG. You can take care of your farm, grow a multitude of different crops and raise various animals. Since the game features magic, you can use it as a tool to make some tasks easier. For example, summon a rain cloud to water the plants more efficiently or plant many seeds at once.

You can also explore multiple mines and gather ores and gems required to smith armor. Go fishing from rivers, ponds, oceans or even tropical islands! Use the crops you grew and many available recipes to cook delicious food! Customize your farm however you wish!

Another prominent aspect of Sun Haven is combat and RPG elements. They are noticeable from the very beginning when you are creating your character. There are over 200 customization options including race selection. You can play as a standard human but also as an elf, or even as a demon or angel! You can upgrade your character's fighting skills, manage equipment and engage in fluid and smooth combat. Use either melee weapons or powerful magic to face diverse enemies including powerful bosses! 

And you can experience all of it with up to 8 friends in multiplayer! The game is in early access and developers plan to add many more features.
