The story of Undertale is rather typical, at least at the very beginning. You're a young boy who fell down into underground filled with monsters. You have two options from now on. You can try to find a way to run away from this place or stay trapped in here forever. It is not going to be easy though. You're going to meet various NPC and enemies along your way. You have to try to find your way out from this wonderful, yet dangerous place. Do you think that you will be able to do it?

Undertale gameplay is going to surprise you

The Undertale gameplay at the very first sight might remind you of a rather typical RPG game. However, it is only an illusion. In each battle, you might choose between two approaches. The first is simple: "kill your enemy until he dies", as young gamers might put it. The second one is much more interesting.

In Undertale you might talk with every enemy and show him the error of the path which they choose. It might be not as easy as it sounds. Each enemy is different. Their motivation, history, characters. Each aspect has a meaning. For example, there is skeleton knight known as Papyrus. He wants to capture you, so he can become a member of the Royal Guard and finally have friends and popularity. Despite the fact that he is on the other side of the barricade, he still shows that he cares about you. You can either kill him or try to befriend Papyrus. Are you ready to face consequences?

Beautiful music

Undertale soundtrack was created by Toby Fox. A young compositor who was able to create the soundtrack which is going to bring back your memories of best JRPG games. Most of the enemies have their own music. What is interesting, each track has strong symbolism. The music might be cheerful, sorrowful, happy or sad. A very original art style

The art style of the game is going to fondle your eyes. Beautiful and artistic graphics look like a mix of 16-bit style and hand-made graphics. They say, that graphics are not important in such games but certainly it can be an element of art, like in this case. Together with music, both elements are creating the world of Undertale.
