Dead Rising 2: Off The Record

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is a reinterpretation of the original Dead Rising game developed by Capcom Vancouver and published by Capcom in 2011. This action-adventure type game replaces the main protagonist of the series Chuck Greene with Frank West from the original Dead Rising. The game offers many technical advancements, including better optimisation of loading screens and improved graphics. Another great thing that got players attention was the introduction of the sandbox mode, which allows players to explore the Fortune City without paying attention to story missions and time restraints.

Plot

The player takes over the character of Frank West, a photojournalist with a wish to make a grand comeback into the journalist business. He sees the outbreak in Fortune City as the perfect shot that can resurrect his career. In his mind, even a few photos taken from the perspective of a person trapped in a zombie-infested city can give him the content to make him great again. As the player finds themself in the plagued city, a place locked out of exploration in the original Dead Rising 2 - Uranus Zone - a science-fiction theme park is now wide open and explorable.

However, as the Dead Rising series always shows us, the main antagonists are not the zombies but the psychopaths lingering around town. With pervasive anarchy, Frank can get the best and bombshell photojournalist material.

Gameplay

Dead Rising 2 OTR video game focuses on Frank and his efforts to get the best material as a journalist. To get it, the player will follow a unique mission structure and face off against perverted enemies. If the player is to overcome them, they will have to access more deadly and outrageous weapons and combos available in the game. There are new earnable points called Prestige Points that player is granted by taking specific photos in the criteria like horror, erotica, drama or brutality. Additionally, the game allows its players for a 60 fps experience in HD on Windows 10, with several network enhancements.
