The second DLC "The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon" for Kingdom Come: Deliverance revolves around his attempts to find fairest maid of all. Together with his trusty companion Henry, you are going to look for love.

In general, the main objective is linking three new quests, in which you will not only have to read love poems, arrange night-time meetings with cute ladies and keep an enraged butcher at bay, but also infiltrate the camp of a band of bloodthirsty brigands, enter a dice tournament, dig up a corpse, investigate a murder and along the way maybe you will be forced to commit one of two atrocities. No matter though. Everything can be done in the name of love. Right? Right?! Anyway, if you thought that road to true love is easy and paved with roses, then sorry we have to run on your parade pal but guess what? You were wrong.

Find a true love

The heart of our much-loved young Sir Hans Capon is bursting with overwhelming longing for... his latest flame. You are going to join him in a great adventure in order to find a great love.  There is one problem though. It is not the first love of our hero. Well, he is like a Casanova.  Unfortunately due to his character, Sir Hans Capon very often has various troubles. However, in his opinion, these problems are never his fault. On the other hand, he is a really funny guy. We are sure, that sooner or later, you are going to fall in love with him.

Unlike Henry, his trusted companion who is frankly, tired of his shenanigans. Still, he follows him. Even in the worst troubles. This is what friends are for. Don't you think? The funny thing is if you thought that the story about looking for love was going to be boring or lacking in the fighting department, then guess what, you were wrong. It is going to involve a lot of fighting. Especially due to the fact that our hero, Sir Hans Capon is not willing to give up on his guest for a true love. Well, times have changed now we can utilize Twitter to find love. However, Hans Capon  needs to utilize his sword skills and fencing abilities. Like a Casanova.

Long and interesting quests

In order to find his true love Sir Hans Capon needs to fulfill three quests. Kingdom Come Deliverance The Amorous Adventures Of Bold Sir Hans Capon in general provides you with a few hours of additional gameplay. These quests are: Honeyed Words, Game of Throws and No Rest for the Wicked. Honeyed Words is described in the following way: Young Lord Capon is in love. Again! And again he wants me to help him win the heart of the maiden in question.

Sir Hans informs you of the newest development in his life. He professes his love for a girl named Karolina, the Butcher of Rattay's daughter, and describes her... virtues... with enthusiasm. He plans to court her in a way that's been all the rage in France: by convincing her that she has a secret admirer. In order to do so he has to recover a family necklace, get Musk of Infinite Allure and get to Karolina (oh by the way Karolina is a cute, Polish name) herself. It sounds easy, right? Well, it is not.

Game of Throws is described in such a way: The bold Sir Hans Capon inherited a lovely necklace from his great-grandmother... which he lost at dice. And now he wants it back again. That sounds simple enough... right?

In this quest, you will be forced to participate in the game of dice throws in order to retrieve the necklace from a person who previously had won it from Hans himself. However, it is not the best part of this quest. If you are willing to do so you can participate in the side-story about crime which you need to solve. You are going to be like Sherlock Holmes and find out who killed Sir Alphonse.

The last quest which is called Honeyed Words is described as such: The bold Sir Hans Capon inherited a lovely necklace from his great-grandmother... which he lost at dice. And now he wants it back again. That sounds simple enough... right?

In this quest, you are going to find a secret recipe for the Musk of the Infinite Allure. It is not going to be easy though. In order to do so, you will be forced to literally dig in graves. At the same time, you are going to find the secret behind the Butcher business, who is also a father of Karolina herself.

The strongest point of the story presented in the Kingdom Come Deliverance The Amorous Adventures Of Bold Sir Hans Capon is the fact, that there are many ways to do these quests. You can choose the easy way and simply pay for everything. However, if you are willing to do so, you can take an unorthodox approach and thanks to this, you will find many secrets in this "peaceful" village. Be careful though.

Gameplay mechanics

The gameplay in Kingdom Come: Deliverance - The Amorous Adventures of Hans Capon does not differ from what we might know from the basic version of the game. We explore a vast, open world, which is an authentically reproduced, small fragment of medieval Central Europe, we fight enemies, perform various tasks and interact with many interesting heroes and people who simply try to live their lives in this world. We also develop the skills of our hero and acquire new equipment. It takes 10-15 hours to complete the expansion and this can be done either after completing the main storyline, or after befriending Hans during the game.
