Sword Art Online is a popular and extensive franchise. It all started from a light novel series with several issues. Then, there was anime and movies. It was only logical that the success of the franchise is bound to give birth to video and computer games, too.

The whole story, divided into several novels and anime episodes, tells about the adventures of Kazuto Kirigaya. He is a player in the titular Sword Art Online – an unusual virtual reality MMORPG video game – where he is known as Kirito, which is his nickname. The problem appears when he is unable to log out of the game as it turns out to be somehow connected with the real world. Dying there means the actual death of the player’s body. So, he and his friends need to finish the game and beat the Administrator of the server in order to break free.

Project Alicization

Project Alicization, according to the series, is a government project aimed at designing an advanced artificial intelligence for the military purposes. Completely unaware of all of those top-secret plans, Kazuto accepts the job offer to test the Soul Translator, but it is he who is used by the enterprise as the test subject himself.

The SAO Alicization Game

This time, the world the players are to explore is called the Underworld. The game features many characters known from the manga and the anime, including, beside Kirito himself, such individuals as Eugeo or Alice (the girl who broke the laws of the Taboo Index in the Underworld).
