NARAKA: BLADEPOINT

The battle royale Naraka bladepoint is a free-to-play parkour MMO game produced by 24 Entertainment and developed by NetEase Games Montréal in August 2021. To explore the Morus island, where the player has to find their way around and fight off opposing players, is the main gameplay objective of the Naraka game.

The purpose of the game is to be the last survivor, as in other battle royale games. However, in this production, player is given an advantage in the shape of high mobility possibilities. Combining the mobility abilities with various weapons, both melee and ranged, set the players to have a fast-paced and satisfying rivalry.

Gameplay

The Naraka blade point is a game in which the player picks one character, each having their distinctive abilities and design. The player is also allowed to choose a weapon of their liking. The player has a vast arsenal of means of destruction at their disposal, ranging from spears, greatswords and daggers for melee combat to ranged bows, muskets and pistols.

Characters

Before the martial arts battle royale starts, the player can choose a unique character out of many available and grant the player powerful abilities. Tarka Ji utilizes the powers of fire to damage and defeats his enemies while increasing his agility. A teleporting menace, Matari, roams the island's ruins in search of lone, unsuspecting targets. Kurumi's ability to heal herself and any teammates make her mandatory to consider while queuing up for duos or trios. Viper Ning has a lot of crowd-control potential in her kit, making her difficult to beat in close-quarters combat.

Wind wielding Temulch can create a wind barrier blocking all ranged attacks and knocking back close enemies, which makes him extremely powerful in the right hands. Tianhai, much like Temulch, can protect himself from ranged projectiles, and he also possesses the ability to transform into a Varja, a powerful and colossal battle monk. Yoto Hime's kit allows her to summon and throw blades at the opponent and later teleport to them to finish the job. Valda Cui uses the powers of the sea dragon to summon a powerful wave of water to subdue her adversaries.

The player base is fond of a battle royale game in the eastern art style, allowing them to feel like martial arts masters and fight their way up to the first place. Creating engaging and tactical combat with fast-paced exchanges of blows makes the game an incredible experience.
