Automobilista

Automobilista is a racing simulation game developed by Reiza Studios and released in 2016. It offers an incredibly realistic racing experience, with a physics engine that accurately models the behaviour of cars and tracks, and a focus on strategic resource management.

Gameplay

Players have access to a wide range of vehicles, including high-performance sports cars, classic Formula 1 automobiles, and more. In Automobilista one can transition from driving a rental kart to racing an open-wheel car with 800 horsepower. Each of them is modelled with an incredible way of reflecting reality, and drivers are able to customize and tweak their vehicles to suit their driving styles.

This automobile sim focuses on realism and this is its distinguishing feature. The tracks are modelled in great detail, taking into account the unevenness. Even things like air density at a certain height matter here. The car sounds in the game come from recordings of real vehicles. Offline mode provides interesting attractions like single races, full championships, and endurance events, where players can race with an AI.
