Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail serves as the fifth expansion pack to a popular massively multiplayer online role-playing video game, Final Fantasy XIV, and brings a fair amount of new content and new features for players to discover and interact with. Most notably, Dawntrail introduces two new jobs, a new playable race, new dungeons and raids, new cosmetics, a major graphical overhaul, more customization options for the characters, and an exciting new story that will take players to the western continent of Tural.

Gameplay

Dawntrail expands the base game of Final Fantasy XIV by adding new features on top of the existing game. As such, the core gameplay remains mostly the same and revolves around exploring and interacting with a huge, persistent open world full of magic and fantasy, and other players that you’ll meet during your journey. New Jobs to Try

With Dawntrail, Square Enix brings two brand-new jobs to the table: a Viper and a Pictomancer. Utilize new skills and abilities and tackle the challenges in a way you never have before. Whether you prefer a dynamic, close-ranged action with the use of blades as you gracefully dance between the enemies and cut them to pieces as a Viper, or you choose a more artistic approach to combat by using a paintbrush to bend the fabric of reality, painting the enemy creatures out of existence as a Pictomancer, is entirely up to you.

Reach New Heights

Dawntrail introduces a variety of ways to test the strength of your character by adding a number of new raids and dungeons only the most capable adventurers will be able to successfully complete. But fret not, as you’re not entirely out of options; Dawntrail also raises the level cap from 90 to 100, giving you a unique opportunity to make your character stronger than ever before.

Visual Overhaul

The beautiful world of Final Fantasy XIV gets even prettier in Dawntrail, thanks to the major graphics update. High-resolution textures and improved lighting add more depth and allow for a more immersive experience as you explore stunning locations, jaw-dropping vistas, and places brimming with life.
