MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is set in the distant future, in the year 3015. Humanity has colonized a vast region of space known as the Inner Sphere. However, now thousands of solar systems are plunged into war by divided factions and battlefields are dominated by hulking titans known as BattleMechs.

But the turmoil creates an opportunity for people like you, the Mercenaries. Take charge of a fallen Mercenary company and lead it to glory through battle, fire and destruction. Take control of your BattleMech and stomp, explode and blast your enemies in a quest for fame and revenge. Since its release, the game has been receiving mostly positive reviews on Steam.

Gameplay

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a shooter game and thus your primary objective will be to annihilate anyone foolish enough to stand in your way. While piloting your own BattleMech and equipped with an arsenal of powerful and deadly weapons you're a force to be reckoned with, with enough firepower to destroy whole cities. But don't get too cocky, your enemies aren't defenseless either.

Customize your BattleMech

The game offers an incredible level of customization to your BattleMech. With over 50 chassis and numerous variants, it's almost impossible to meet two identical machines. But that's not all as you can install upgrades, new parts and otherwise modify your stats. You can acquire all of that in various ways. you can buy them on one of the many markets in Inner Sphere but you can just as well pillage or salvage them from your fallen enemies. Where you'll get your upgrades is of little concern as long as they will turn you into an unstoppable MechWarrior.

Lead your Mercenary Company

As a leader, it is your responsibility to manage your Mercenary Company. You'll be acquiring mentioned gear, recruiting new MechWarriors to bolster your ranks and, most importantly, negotiating with your clients, the Great Houses from Inner Sphere. You'll be making as many allies as enemies, so watch out!

Multiplayer co-op

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries offer a cooperative multiplayer for up to 4 people. Join forces with your friends to wreak havoc upon the battlefield!
