Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny is a single-player action RPG set in a unique world where feudal Japan meets dark fantasy. Jubei’s story

The game follows the story of Jubei Yagyu, a brave samurai whose Oni powers were unleashed after his village was destroyed. Jubei can absorb the souls of defeated Genma to gain experience points, restore his health, recharge his magic abilities, and transform into the titular Onimusha to become invincible.

To get his revenge and defeat his human and supernatural enemies, Jubei uses a variety of weapons (primarily melee) and elemental magic, making Onimusha 2 an outstanding game for every swordplay enthusiast. A key mechanic of the game’s combat system is the Issen - a powerful counter achieved by a perfectly timed block or attack, resulting in killing an enemy in one hit. Additionally, Jubei can be assisted by other warriors based on their relationship, which may influence the story.
