Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake

The 2021 remake of developed by Ubisoft in 2003 and highly acclaimed game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Over the years, many editions of Prince of Persia game have been released and met with very mixed reactions in the gaming environment. And then it was Assassin's Creed which happened to be a great Ubisoft's success, although it was based on Prince of Persia title. Nevertheless, the creators decided to renew the magical world of the Sands of Time.

This time rich in significantly improved graphics and combat system. In this third-person action-adventure game, you will relive the same story in a completely new version. The game was created and published entirely by Ubisoft in cooperation with the creators of the original title.

Story

As a Prince, you will once again fall victim to a conspiracy by an insidious Vizier - you will free the sands of time from the great Hourglass of Time, and then you will be forced to reverse the events you have led yourself to. Don't worry, you will have a Dagger of Time and beautiful Maharaja's daughter Farah to help you.

Gameplay

Get involved in the history of this oriental world and turn the course of time! On your way, you will come across many enemies, obstacles, and puzzles. In order to defeat and solve them all, you need to be cunning, clever, and reflexive. You have a limited number of options to reverse time, and the encounters with enemies are extremely dynamic and require dexterity. Run, jump, and avoid the traps. Always keep your eyes open, because you never know where the enemy might come from.

Interestingly, during the game, you will have the opportunity to unlock the original version of the game from 1989, which you can start at any time from the menu.

Reception

Truth to be told, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake met with a very mixed reception. The graphics were not very enthusiastically welcomed by the players because it slightly differed from the standards of other titles at that time. Nevertheless, as the production of Ubisoft, famous for its interesting and history-based productions, it aroused great interest in these players who are able to turn a blind eye to minor graphic shortcomings only to relive the adventure in the fantastic world of desert sands.
