Plot

You take on the role of mercenary V in the "Phantom Liberty" DLC. The adventure starts as you receive a message from the enigmatic netrunner Songbird. The woman grants the hero assistance on the condition that he save Rosalind Myers, the president of the New United States of America (NUSA). This will not be a simple task, especially since the politician's Space Force One plane crashes in Dogtown, an autonomous district of Night City that was ripped from the city's jurisdiction during the Unification War by former Colonel Kurt Hansen. Barghest has already started the hunt for the president.

V can rely on Songbird and experienced operative Solomon Reed, who has been dormant until recently, for assistance on espionage and political missions. Reed is played by Idris Elba, which gives a special atmosphere to the game. Of course, you will still be accompanied by Johnny Silverhand.
