Destiny 2: The Final Shape

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is the latest expansion pack for the super-popular free to play first-person looter shooter, Destiny 2 (2017). This final chapter of the Destiny 2 story and its eighth expansion was developed and self-published by Bungie in June 2024.

The new chapter

The Final Shape DLC includes the new story campaign, three new Supers, a new destination, new weapons, new armor, and the first Episode in the year of The Final Shape (Echoes, taking place shortly after the events of The Final Shape campaign). What’s new

Help the Guardian and the Vanguard to stop the Witness from creating the titular Final Shape and end the war between the Light and Darkness! The Final Shape is full of amazing, brand-new content, including Player versus Environment locations, Player versus Player maps, a new raid - Salvation’s Edge - taking place in the Witness’s monolith, new dungeons, and more. It also introduces the new 12-player PvE activity, which is a novelty to the Destiny series, and some gameplay changes such as an improved Power level system, new Pathfinder system, updated HUD, and more.

Discover new abilities available for the existing Light subclasses and a new subclass, Prismatic, combining the powers of Light and Darkness. The Final Shape introduces three new Light-based supers for each of the Guardian classes (Storm’s Edge for Arcstrider Hunters, Twilight Arsenal for Sentinel Titans, and Song of Flame for Dawnblade Warlocks) as well as multiple new weapons, armor, and exotic class items.
