The Gameplay

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition – a collab between DICE, Criterion Games and Motive Studios, released by EA in late 2017 – offers what Star Wars enthusiasts like best: lots of action wrapped around an unmistakable Star Wars vibe. A single-player campaign, set between The Return of The Jedi and The Force Awakens, introduces Iden Versio, the commander of Inferno Squad – an Imperial special ops strike force – who is to face demanding challenges and prove her commanding skills during clashes in many different star systems.

The game has over 10 other game modes including e.g. Ewok Hunt, Galactic Assault, Arcade and Instant Action – a well-known co-op mode from the previous installment, in which you engage in quick battles from all Star Wars saga, fighting arm-in-arm with your favorite heroes. Multiplayer is also available, with 4 playable classes to choose from: Assault, Heavy, Officer and Specialist. To top it off, Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition has lots of DLC’s called “seasons”, comprising maps for battles from subsequent installments of Star Wars sequel trilogy, let alone over 25 heroes skins, 125 units and soldiers skins, 100 emotes and voice lines, and 70 victory poses.
