Splash or Crash

Hear that? It’s the sound of another stone hitting the water at the bottom of the well! But there’s no time for celebration… it’s your turn next! Can you reach the bottom or will your stone be smashed to smithereens? That’s the challenge that awaits you in Splash or Crash on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL, available only from Nintendo eShop.Although it looks simple, the action of Splash or Crash is surprisingly challenging. True, you only have to get your stone to the bottom of the well in order to win… but there’s no guarantee you’ll make it! Once you make the drop, use all your skill to steer your stone past the obstacles without crashing. The further you fall, the faster you’ll go – hit an obstacle, however, and you’ll slow down, losing vital HP  (the ‘health’ of your stone) in the process. Lose all your stone’s HP before you reach the bottom and you’ll have to start all over again!
Thankfully, you can improve your chances of success by passing through balloons (which top up your HP) and doughnuts (which increase your speed even further). And it’s speed that counts here, since the only thing that matters is getting to the bottom of the well as quickly as possible, allowing you to rack up a really high score. The question is, how quickly can you splash before you crash?
With ten challenging wells to discover and ten unique objects to drop down them – each with their own different characteristics that change how you tackle each well – there’s a huge range of high-scoring combinations. And once you’ve set your best times, share them with other people via StreetPass and prove to everyone that you’re the top of the drops!
